Motorcycle Insurance Coverages Extra coverages

Extra coverages you can add

Total loss coverage for a brand new bike
Available if your bike is no more than one model year old on a new policy, and two model years old during a renewal of a total loss coverage policy. If your bike is totaled, we’ll give you the full manufacturer’s suggested retail price for a brand new bike, minus the deductible on your policy.

Let’s say that you bought a motorcycle for $15,000, and it’s now only worth $10,000. If it’s totaled, and the latest model costs $15,000+, we’ll give you $15,000+. That’s a real $5,000 difference. If your motorcycle is no longer eligible for total loss coverage at renewal, your policy will still cover the actual cash value for what it’s currently worth.

Roadside assistance and trip interruption
If you get stuck or your bike is disabled, we’ll tow it to the nearest repair shop for free. You just have to be within 100 feet of the road. You can also add trip interruption to pay for food and lodging expenses up to $500 if you’re away from home (you must have roadside assistance first then add trip interruption).

Carried Contents® for your personal belongings
Covers just about all of your personal belongings that you carry on your bike if they’re damaged, stolen, or lost. This can include phones, camping gear, hunting gear, or just about any of your other personal property that could fall off your bike.

Disappearing deductible
Every policy term that you don’t have a claim, we’ll take 25% off your deductible, all the way down to $0. If you have a claim, the deductible returns to its original amount at the next renewal.†

Enhanced injury protection
If you’re injured and can’t work, we’ll pay you up to $250 each and every week for two straight years. We’ll also add built-in life insurance to this, so if you’re in a fatal accident, we’ll pay your beneficiaries $25,000.
